Back in North Carolina

The Leonard's drove into North Carolina on Wednesday. We looked very similiar to the Clampett's driving into Beverly Hills. We had 1 sprinter, 1 SUV with lots of "stuff" tied on top with a UHaul attached, which was packed so full we barely got it open and 1 SAAB with a dirty clothes hamper in the passenger seat and coats in the window!! I'm sure we were quite a sight to all we passed. But, we made it. Our trip was good, the kids were great travelers and nothing fell off or came unattached!
My parents graciously met us here and we worked them to death for 24 hours and then they ran to their car and got out of here....
Granddad did lots of jobs while he was here, including but not limited to cleaning out of the garage and loading it with mattresses to sell, hanging pictures, fixing doors and several important trips to Baskin Robbins and Dunkin' Donuts!! Oh how Silas loves those trips...
Grammie did lots of rearranging and redecorating. She made some great choices and I can't wait for her to come back. She also took me on a huge shopping excursion to Costco - Thanks Grammie and Granddad!
We have officially unpacked everything, I think it is safe to say that we all know where our toothbrushes and underwear are now. That was not the case for the first day or so....gross!
Now, it's time to clean and get the laundry done! I'm sure one day I'll be caught up, but until then we will just keep on keeping on.
Thanks for your prayers over the past week, they have been felt.
