Happy 10th Birthday Clara Jane!

This is a beautiful picture that Clara took with her new camera! We are having a hard time believing that Clara has turned 10! Where has the time gone? I remember the details of the day she was born as if it was yesterday. What a blessing and healing my pregnancy with her was. Her birth brought such joy to all of us and she was a precious newborn.
She is now too a precious girl. One filled with such high strung emotion and passion. She has a hard time expressing herself except in a loud scream. Our prayer is that God will teach her to focus and manage that emotion and energy into something that is pleasing to Him.
Right now Clara is loving art, photography, Girl Scouts and Church LifeGroup. She is a straight A student. She is becoming more responsible every day and we are SO proud of her! Her goals in life have not changed much - she is striving to be a lawyer, governor and then the first Woman President of the United States of America! Watch out Sarah Palin!
Clara, we love you with all of our heart and we are so very proud of you. May God bless you this year!
